Gabriel M. Kind M.D. believes that excellence in surgery and the compassionate care of patients must go hand in hand. He has devoted a great deal of his career to the care of women with breast cancer.
Gabriel M. Kind M.D. received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College, and attended Northwestern University Medical School. Dr. Kind was fully trained in General Surgery at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center, and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Northwestern University in Chicago. He also completed a fellowship in Hand and Microsurgery at the Davies Medical Center which is now part of California-Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. Dr. Kind is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery and by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Kind is an Assistant Clinical Professor, Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, at the University of California-San Francisco, and a Clinical Instructor, Department of Surgery (Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery), at Stanford School of Medicine, Stanford University Medical Center. Dr. Kind received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, at the University of California-San Francisco in 2001 for his contributions to the Resident's Cosmetic Clinic.
As a member of several local and national medical organizations Dr. Kind has presented at national meetings and published scientific articles on a wide variety of plastic surgery topics. He has also been featured in several articles by the press as a knowledgeable resource on plastic surgery.
